Many of Cuba’s finest artists have been releasing homage composition dedicated to the event, and Los Van Van is no exception.
The wonderful album “La Habana Si” was released in 1985, containing many great songs, including the title track…
Now, to demonstrate their love and respect for both the city, and the band’s legendary founder, Juan Formell, Los Van Van released a new version of this masterpiece, together with a beautiful video clip.
So, let us watch, listen and congratulate the eternal capital on its 500th birthday 🙂

Did you know that Manolito Simonet has a new album called Clasicos del Trabuco?
The album contains some of the band’s greatest hits from almost 25 years of music career, performed by today’s musicians, including such classics as “Marcando la Distancia”, “El Aguila” and the song presented today, “Y todavia No”.
The song features Trabuco’s young, new and trendy vocalist Ruben Gonzales as well as all of the present musicians and the never changing band leader himself…
