{"id":285,"date":"2014-03-28T07:12:35","date_gmt":"2014-03-28T07:12:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/salsalust.com\/blogs\/cuban_music_che\/?p=285"},"modified":"2014-03-28T07:12:35","modified_gmt":"2014-03-28T07:12:35","slug":"28-03-14-ache-cubano-a-donde-vas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salsayo.com\/blogs\/cuban_music_che\/?p=285","title":{"rendered":"28.03.14 : Ache Cubano &#8211; A Donde Vas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good afternoon, mis amigos!<\/p>\n<p>Today I wish to present you a nice Cuban band from Groningen, Netherlands.<br \/>\nAs defined by the band&#8217;s leader, Cuban Ommis Bonet, the group&#8217;s mission is spreading the diversity and tradition of Cuban music in Europe and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Although having the music of the Buena Vista Social Club as their base, the group plays various mixes of Son, Rumba, Mambo, Son Montuno and Timba.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.ytimg.com\/vi\/jkiKHoAwgCY\/maxresdefault.jpg\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The band was formed in 2008, and since then played in several music festivals and many venues across Europe, including the Netherlands, Germany and Bosnia.<\/p>\n<p>The band consists of 8 members, which play the piano, bass, congas, maracas, bongos &amp; campana, 2 trumpets and lead vocalist, with some of the musicians serving as the back vocals.<\/p>\n<p>The song I present here today is a nice and romantic Son composition called &#8220;A Donde Vas&#8221;.<br \/>\nI do recommend everybody to stay tuned for the presentation of the band&#8217;s first CD, &#8220;Andar La Habana&#8221;, which comes out on April 19th!<\/p>\n<p>Disfruten!<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Vomm-CgD1D0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good afternoon, mis amigos!
