Returning from a wonderful event such as the 10th Guaguanco festival<\/a> is always a bit of a sad occurrence, as you know that at least for now, the fun is over and it will be a while until you get to experience it all over again, 4-5 days of wonder…<\/p>\n But on the other hand, the blog is back on track! So, here is the original<\/p>\n
\nFor today I shall be presenting a great mix of Timba and Guanguanco, which were brought together by the wonderful collaboration of Maykel Blanco<\/a> and Yoruba Andabo in his latest album “Que Tiene Que Te Mueve”.
\nThe song is a remake of a pure Rumba composition by the above mentioned folkloric & popular music ensemble from a few years back, and was often played at the festival, during classes and parties alike.<\/p>\n
